need to modifiy the lower half of my top mounts to gain more clearance for the coilovers as I'm bottoming out the shock body against the tophat...

anyone got any spares?

There is a group buy on rovertech for alloy top mounts which can give you more camber. The rear camber looks like it needs attention too (unless you've set it up like that).

the rear always cambers in when you go that low, it's ok, I need to address the rear toe but I can live with the camber, people pay loads to get that amount of camber :P

I just need to space the wheels out so their nearer the rear arch, and lower the front more :P

You can get adjustable top arms to sort the rear camber out though. The toe may be more problematic but perfectly possible to fix. (I think you run out of adjustment in the pre-cut slots from memory).

i'll look into it some more, it's all Honda suspension at the rear so i'll get it sorted.

what do you tell people when they tell you to get sensible modern car with no rust issues.....

that's exactly what I could say to your remark...

the whole point of this car is to be different and if I left this car too high it would just be another R8 chassis people don't look twice at, (except us sad lot :P)
