Re: Rover Revivals Revival

Post by RoverRevival »

Just as a thread resurrection and an update.
We are in the next month or so moving to our new unit which is 2000sqft bigger than our current one :scared

And due to some overactive polish brickies who read the tape measure slightly wrong, we got a bit extra than we were planning when the walls finally went up.

Which means instead of our single work bay for cars that we thought we had, we can now run two full restoration bays.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So.....this is me pimping for work to help pay for this monstrosity that's being built.
All work considered from paint scratch to full restoration.

If you own a 25/45/75 diesel I can offer mapping services adding roughly 40-50bhp (proven) i can do none rover vehicles as well but please check with me first before getting excited. Vans get especially good results. My Vito went from 88bhp to 170bhp :clapping

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Those who remember my old unit will know i don't like doing things small so here is some WIP pictures of the unit, its a bit further along than this and i hope to get some more pics soon.

in maintaining
The cr*p isn't mine yet....*laughs*

The car bays are going to run along that back wall and have racking to the sides for the parts that get removed.

Here's a rough drawing to illustrate the plan.

Before you start thinking i can't afford a service like that, please remember, i run Rover Revival as a not for profit and will happily just sit over peoples shoulders if they just want to do it themselves and use the time to learn confidence in maintaining their classics.

just a little update on the vehicle mapping. I can cover a lot of cars but please ask first.

Fords do particularly well.

Stage 1 £150-199
Stage 2 £150-249
EGR Deletes £60
DPF Deletes £80

Sizeable discounts for 200oc members.

My vito went from 88bhp to 168bhp and 162 to 262 lb/ft and my 75 diesel went from 114bhp to 154bhp and 192 to 255 lb/ft.

only half the size of the last unit, but it'll do the job.

Only working on 2 cars at a time rather than 12-13 that i used to.
