Club members should have now received this email
Tickets can be bought online from here - https://www.britishmotormuseum.co.uk/ev ... yland-show
Dear Club Member
The museum have advised us that as a club we will be entitled to a limited number of free tickets for this event (this will be a pass giving you the driver, your club car, plus one passenger entry to the show and museum). Please note this is only valid for club qualifying cars being exhibited on our club stand.
If you have not already bought a ticket in advance and you are a current club member, please email Jeremy on membership@rover200.org.uk BEFORE 23.59 ON SATURDAY 15th JUNE.
Jeremy will then draw the winners out of an 'Aero' wheel trim and email confirmation to those who have applied whether they are successful or not.
If you are unsuccessful in the draw, this will still leave just under two weeks for you to buy the discounted tickets online from the museum. (Booking deadline is 28th June).
This is our National Event in this year where we have significant anniversaries for our cars. A number of club awards will given out at the event so please come along and make this event extra special for the club.
We hope to see you at Gaydon on 7th July.
Kind regards
Paul Vincent
Events Secretary

Re: BMC & Leyland Show, Gaydon - 7th July 2019
I will be attending but I am wondering if my car will qualify to be on the club stand..
1. Does my car have to be in great condition?
It has a couple of tiny dents and the odd rust bubble.
2. I am also a part of the Young Retro Motor Club and have 2 small side stickers and a windscreen banner.. would this be a problem if I was to get on the stand?
3.Who do I contact about getting on the stand.
Thanks for any info.

Anyone with a club qualifying car, ie Rover 200, 400, 25, 45 or Streetwise regardless of condition or stickers can be on our stand!! You will need to pay to get in to the show. If you pre-book on line with a qualifying car, your car, the driver and one passenger will get in for £7. It is more expensive on the day. Alternatively if you join our club before midnight tomorrow, (£9.50) you can enter a draw to win a free pass to get in to the show with your car, and a passenger. The museum have given us a limited number of free tickets to issue to members.

Great!
Thanks for the information.
In that case I would like to be on the stand please.
So, if I book my car in on the BMM website, that's how I'll be booked on the club stand?
And on the day, what do I need to do to find all of you?
Sorry, this is my first show so I'm quite a newbie!

If you are booked in to the show, you can join us on our stand. As you drive down towards the museum building we should be on the right. Look out for a tall club flag and a white gazebo with the club logo on it. There will probably be someone from the club on the access road who will direct you.

Re: BMC & Leyland Show, Gaydon - 7th July 2019
Thank you to all those who applied for a free pass. The draw has now been made and I have notified both those who have been successful and the ones who haven't been successful. Passes will be posted out as soon as we receive them.
Sorry to those who have not been successful but I am sure there will be other opportunities in the future and of course you can still purchase discounted entry tickets from British Motor Museum website as follows:-
https://www.britishmotormuseum.co.uk/do ... -Entry.pdf
All club qualifying cars are welcome on our stand whether you have been lucky enough to win a free pass or not.
