Well, it's gone. My housemate has taken it on. I've not used it for the last three months and not wanted to because I've had the Princess to pootle about in. It's no fault of the Rover, it's a very good car and I don't regret my time with it at all, but we definitely got to a point where we needed to go our separate ways.

You can blame the Princess for this. Even when the weather was bad, or it was cold, the Princess was the car I chose to get in. Even though the Rover is quantifiably better in every way, the Princess is that car that suits me.

Saves me dealing with The Public and trying to sell the car online with my dodgy hours and now allows me to focus on the BX I've recently acquired and enjoy using the Princess, which I've now had for 7 years and have no intention of parting ways with. I'd absolutely recommend the R8 to other people, and the club, since my experiences with both have been so positive. I may come back to them in the future, but for now my time with the R8 is over.
