Weather forecasts show 10-11 degrees the consensus, dry, clear with patchy cloud and a 10% chance of rain. Westerly winds of 10mph and gusts easily double this speed, will mean it'll feel more like 7 degrees.

I'm definitely out on this one now. There's no way I can get the time off from work commitments (just finished for today, in fact. The joy of working nights) I need to for the distance I need to travel. Bit of a bugger but never mind. Look forward to seeing all your pictures from the day and I hope you all have a great time.

'Tis true, the RCOC haven't organised a pitch so we're all in this together.

We've got 25'ish committed for a 40-car pitch and they've got 12'ish but that means virtually no slack for people who just turn up, who wold generally be non-members.

Bear in mind that we had 60+ between the 2 clubs at POL15...

So we are going to have to maximise space utilisation!

I'm intending to get there early to erect the club flag as a marker and try to work out how to fit everybody in :angel

Remember this is POL and we're all mates :D

I'll be attending in my 1993 Rover 416SLi - one previous owner - original condition and 32000 miles from new. It'll be a 300 mile round trip, the longest the car has ever done. Patrick

Great Patrick. Mine's a 1990 416. I know of at least two other 416's too. Look forward to seeing you and the car tomorrow. :-)

Maybe we'll get the 2 white GSi's and 1 GTi next to each other :)

Just checked over my 216 GTi (1990) and she is running well, filled her up at the local garage - Ready to go at 7:30 in the morning.

See you at POL about 9-ish.

Luckily my white 416 GTi is going to be there. Last minute both rear calipers renewed as they were jammed in :scared
So new brakes and discs all round too. New fuel filter and spark plugs. Shame I brought the wrong HT leads. :slapme

See you around 9am too hopefully.
