Thanks to everyone who came along to POL yesterday - it was great to be outside with so many smiling people again!

This is one of the very few pics I managed to take yesterday but there'll be many more here shortly, I'm sure - https://www.rover200.org.uk/events/past-events?y=2022

We had 90 cars in our area, which was combined with the RCOC again this year, so we massively overflowed our allocated area. I'm certain we'll get a bigger one allocated next year :laughing2

The organisers started to let cars in earlier this year, which, along with using both entrances, helped traffic flow considerably and reduced the queues considerably.

Yep, that was the one. I took a photo of it when we left alongside the only other Longbridge Honda, the Ballade...

That was a massive help-no daft queues! I was dreading assisting someone bringing multiple cars over, but we didn’t wait more than about five minutes to get in. Really well organised and run show, a credit to the organisers and volunteers.

A fantastic effort by both the organisers and Our Club - the magnificence of the turn-out eclipsed only by the friendliness of everyone who had tales to tell of the factory, or to swap stories about their cars etc. From a mighty X Power to a humble but dignified Austin Seven. So will forever be our proud heritage.

Thanks to all for a memorable day.

Stan.

P.S.
Would be nice to know just how many cars were there - I'd say well over a thousand.
