Thank you, folks! The chrome rings around the heater controls and gear knob were ordered from a Portuguese supplier some years ago. I think it goes great with the rest of the interior. Thank you both for your opinions. Well, I've got the opportunity to buy a new original sensor for €60 (about £55), but it's the part no. MHK100840 to fit the K-Series engined 200mk3 and 400mk2 (mine's a '95 200mk2 214SEi). It's the 4 wire and I think the connector is the same (not sure though). The ...

I'm not sure to be honest, however there are lots of aftermarket sensors out there that fit fine and cost rather a lot less than the rover price usually! Are the aftermarket sensors really effective? Some guys warned me they were not accurate and reliable so I should get an original replacement par...
