I went from Bristol to London (Hammersmith) and back on Sunday and still had over quarter of a tank left. We weren't going crazy but we weren't hanging around either, if you know what I mea...

For a quick result I use Color Magic. Great for masking minor surface scratches

If I have the time I use One Grand Omega Glaze followed by a coat of One Grand Blitz Wax - a hard Caranuba wax. The depth of shine has to be seen to be believed.

When my renewal came up I wan't a member of the club, I was a member of Rovertorque, who also use Chris Knott as their recommended insurers. Maybe this club is getting a better deal??? Who knows.... I always shop around at renewal time so I will give them another go. What I ended up with for my £350...

Rovertorque use Chris Knott as their recommended insurers as well and I had my 1.6 Tomcat insured with them until June '07. When the renewal came in at a whopping £850 :scared I nearly had a heart attack, so I decided to shop around and eventually got a quote a whole £500 cheaper. Admitedly I did li...

Moto Build do a spring & shocker kit for the R8 priced at £214.00 + P&P

you can find them at www.moto-build.com

I've got this kit on my Coupe and it's quite a nice compromise - not so hard that it'll shake your fillings out. Tidies the handling up nicely as well.

Walnut dash = OLD MAN! lose it dude! Nah it doesn't. Everyone has different tastes. In my opinion Walnut Dash = Stylish and showing some class. I would much rather have wood anyday. :P It looks really good I agree, but I've always liked a wood dash in any car. If you prefer black, why not just get ...

*laughs*.. is the 75 a 1.8 turbo? does anyone know anything of maybe fitting a 1.8 k series turbo into an r8 ? No, it's a Y reg so normally aspirated 1.8. Toyed with the idea of changing the engine in the tomcat for a 1.8T but I seiously doubt if there is room for the turbo between engine & rad...

I don't know if I'm a bit late on this one but I found Adrian Flux very good - and considerably cheaper (by hundreds of pounds) than Chris Knott
