That's great Jeremy. If you could arrange to post it to me I'll reimburse you for the postage and whatever you want for it. Once again, many thanks Guy

Fuel Filler Cap
Disaster - I have lost my 1990 Rover 416 GSI fuel filler cap (Honda petrol engine)) Rimmer Bros don't have one in stock. Can anybody help with a spare, or suggestions as to where I can find one? I presume any scrap yard availability is long gone. Thanks Guy Osborne

Tyre size for 416gsi
I'm just about to replace both my front tyres, currently 175/65/R14 (the original size specified) They are obviously 'skinny' tyres, as demonstrated by a very occasional shimmy. I just wondered, before I progress, would I benefit from a wider tyre, say a 185? I should add, before you ask, I don't ha...

Rover 416GSi 1990 misfiring after storage
I'm sure that this topic must have been well aired previously, but maybe someone has some up-to-date information for me. I use E5 petrol, but when I garage my car (1990 416 Gsi with Honda engine, only 261000 miles!) and keep it there for say over two months, on start up it will run soundly for 5 min...

Re: Rover 412GSi 1990 electric windows
I have just sent a post showing two pictures of the window assist that we removed from my drivers side front window. Prior to this we checked the relay and found that it seemed to work OK (a satisfying clunk was heard when the drivers side window switch was operated). However, when the motor was tes...

Rover 412GSi 1990 electric windows
Hi All Both my electric window now refuse to work, the nearside from last year and the offside last month. Unfortunately the latter is stuck in the halfway up position so I have to do something (can't take the garage with me everywhere!) I have checked fuse 18 (10A), which is common with the wing mi...

Drive Shaft Dynamic Damper 1990 Rover 416 Gsi
Hi Guys - my 1990 260100 mile Honda engined Rover 416 GSi is in for it's MOT, and I have been told that it has failed because of faulty dynamic dampers on the drive shaft. The best remedy the garage say is to do without them, (cut them off?), assuming that I don't drive round at 100mph on the motorw...

Re: Rover 416GSI 1990 Front Subframe
Hi I have a 1990 Rover 416Gsi with a rusty front (front) subframe. It's been removed by my local garage as I was hoping to get it shotblasted , powder coated and refitted. However, the rust has apparently progressed too far to be easily repaired. I have tried to source a new one (carbodypanels etc) ...

Rover 416GSI 1990 Front Subframe
Does anybody know if these subframes are available, second hand even. Mine is still OK, but showing a fair bit of rust so I need to plan ahead here. If all else fails, I suppose I could get it removed and shot blasted. Guy O
