1998 216 1.6 petrol is timing belt hard to do on the rover engine.

Thank you , one or 2 more thing if possible my black cloth lining just above head cloth is ragged at edges rest is good , I was thinking or renewing the edges by over coving with black material to match using spray glue , but where or how far out should inner materials come too , on each side above ...

Clamp that adjusts steering column can it be tightened
Hi in my 98 216 the lever to adjust steering wheel up down etc is quite slack can you tighten these up. I could take cowling etc off to check but thought I would ask first in case someone else has done this. Thanks.

Got the pump bled today as suggested by 961tat lifting up and down manually, everything worked to plan , just couple of the brackets that hold head liner were seized and not turning on the round bar also broke couple of the we screws but going to put rivet in them 2 but at least they are all nice an...

Just in case it helps someone else the 8 pin socket of my car plugs straight into a 4 pin clock and works no problem, it will only show time , not radio but that did not matter to me as have radio / cd fitted so mine did not show stations any how. For me a 4 pin clock £10 a 8 pin clock £159 used , s...
