Re: ARO 'counter factual' article on the Rover/Honda relationship

The Allegro looked "strange" because there was almost nothing else that looked like it at the time, one only has to think of the angular looks of the Ford Escort. I'm not saying the Allegro's styling was perfect, but it did its job, and the 1748cc engined models, which were the ones that ...

Re: ARO 'counter factual' article on the Rover/Honda relationship

At grave risk of being forcibly ejected from the Club, the R3 looks more like a direct descendant of the Allegro than the R8 or the Maestro. Nothing wrong with that, I had 3 different A(lle)gros (1, 2, & 3) and loved them. To be fair all the cars were going that way back then, though proper aer...

Re: 681 Radio/Cassette

Right, took the radio, an R652, out of the 216 that's off the road and stuck it in the Honda. Bingo! The lights come on and I get the - C - on the display. Trouble is i have no code!

Re: 681 Radio/Cassette

No sound at all, just the back light behind the volume button.

681 Radio/Cassette

I have the above in my Concerto. Up until now I've never used it but having recently got a cassette I'd like to try it. I pushed the on/off button and a light came on behind the large volume button but the display didn't light up and the cassette didn't play however much i pressed the mode button. D...
