Don't know what you mean, washed the car yesterday and today:

Now the white stuff and the wet stuff has settled for a minute or two, time to crack on.

This took a whole heap longer without my ramps (miss you guys) but progress is progress.

So fitted modified honda civic Skunk2 control arms which are polybushed as standard.



Part assembled the trailing arm with the new bushes and discs




Interesting fact about the Skunk2's not only do they look cool, they are roughly half the weight of standards as well

Well thats it, the disc conversion is complete bar 2 pins for the handbrake cable to caliper just got temporary rusty ones there at the moment and you know i'm not interested in rusty

All wasn't well though as not only did both the bolts that hold on to the clamp in the driver compartment snap off, it thought it would be fun, while i was under the car to dump a load of rust in my right eye (currently only have 60% vision, not fun

Only job left is to fit the rear anti roll bar and sort the passenger window mech which is running a little slow, i'll start with grease but worst case i have replacement scissor mech.

But enough typing, on with the pictures.

Does the powder coating on the screws survive when they are screwed in?

when i do it, i screw them in enough to protect the threads so by the time you are fitting it its all pretty much protected.
