This one is meant to be about the overall show , the other thread is about our cabby.

Maybe some posts need to be shuffled around....

We arrived about 9 to start the stand build

And finished around 6 when all 5 cars had arrived and we'd tidied up

We have some work to do on the Cabriolet

And some to do on the other 2 R8s

We're next to the Rover Coupe Owners Club

And there are several other of our cars dotted around the halls

Many thanks to all who helped get the stand ready and to the owners of the cars being displayed

Back home after a busy weekend - not for me as I was at a family wedding in Ireland :blushing - but for everybody who worked and sweated on the cars on the stand over the last 3 days - thank you, you have made a big difference to the cars, their owners and to Crohn's and Colitis UK who are our charity this year :clapping

I only arrived in time to take a few pics at the end but I'm sure more will be added as people recover over the next couple of days.

The Cabriolet has had most exterior panels replaced, the rear suspension compliance bushes replaced and many other jobs which are covered in a separate thread. Many Thanks to Simon Boosey for leading the work on this car.

As an example of the work performed on the cars see the difference here :-

Well...what can I say guys? Thank you very much for inviting me to be part of your stand at the show, and for the friendly welcome offered to me. Had a superb time!

(Oh, and Suzy; your chocolate cake is the best :clapping )
