I'm happy for you to share the data on the Facebook group(s) John, but I would ask that if you do reproduce it that you acknowledge the source of the data (UK Vehicle Data Ltd) for helping supply the data and myself for the analysis of the data I put a lot of time into parsing and analysing the data up to now.
I'm sure I can probably come up with something for you in due course John.
In the meantime I've published the data in a graphical form on my website with the ability to do some filtering. Constructive feedback/suggestions welcome.
If this is a snapshot, perhaps the capture date should be added near the page heading.
If you're showing live, or periodically updated data, do you intend to archive previous
captures, so that casualty rates over time can be evaluated?
It's just a snapshot, I will be putting the date on the page when I do the next update, just forgot to do it in that release. I also plan to include a statement to the effect that it designed no to be viewed on mobile devices. When you view it on mobile phones the models chart in particular doesn't have enough room to show all the labels for each bar on the chart - unless I can come up with a better way of presenting the data.
Whether I'll be able to track changes over time will depend upon how much subsequent cuts of the data will end up costing me, I'll need to speak to UK Vehicle Data and see what the costs are likely to be. I don't need all the data again to do trends, just the tax status data for all the vehicles so in theory it could/should be cheaper.
Tom

Yes, you can see all the stats on my website.
I've release a new version of the code on the site today which now includes data on the length of ownership for each vehicle's current owner. I have to say I'm surprised at how even the distribution of length of ownership is.
