The late Princess Diana's MK3 Ford Escort XR3i Turbo, which was a special order vehicle in black [ all the rest were white] has sold today at the Silverstone Auction. It went for £650,000 !

Total cost of car was about £725k with vat and fees as someone with 3 classic fords does put a smile on my face
