If you mean it incorporates the extra data you were hoping to receive via your inside contact, it still shows fewer 214S than known survivors!

Vinny pointed out that the 220GSi was missing from the list, but it is now there albeit based on the currently incomplete dataset.

As for the missing data, I was expecting that last week but not heard anything so I'll chase it up tomorrow. Was quite busy at work last week due to losing a day to the bank holiday so never realised it hadn't come through.

I received the missing data yesterday and I've checked that all the registrations that were missing in the previous page are now accounted for.

I now have records for 10,647 R8s, of which I have been able to decode the model from the VIN of 10,607 of them, leaving 40 that I couldn't decode for reasons including the VIN is too short/long and VINs where they have letters/numbers where they shouldn't be. These failures represent less than 0.4% of the total data which I pretty good I think. Of those 10,607 this is the current break down of stats:

Very Interesting ourcome, the number of 216GTi twin cams taxed and on-road has shot up to 23 now.

Do you mind if I post your analysis and numbers on the Rover GTi/Coupe Facebook page? Would be good to try and get these 23 cars identified.

Can you list the car's Regs?

I've not yet checked to see if there are any twin cams included in the "216 GTi" list yet. Up to the 1992MY it looks like the twin cam was encoded separetely from the single cam but then they were combined for the 1992MY, so the total number of twin cams will likely be higher in reality once I've had chance to analyse the data.

I'm happy for you to share the data on the Facebook group(s) John, but I would ask that if you do reproduce it that you acknowledge the source of the data (UK Vehicle Data Ltd) for helping supply the data and myself for the analysis of the data I put a lot of time into parsing and analysing the data up to now.

Would it be possible to add the split between 3-dr and 5-dr bodystyle into the 'by model' table,
as you have effectively done for the Cabby, please? It would be nice to have a 'Total' column tagged
on the end for each model row too.
