Are they the 17" S spokes, I used to have an R50 MINI Cooper and they were too big for it, bouncing all over the shop.

Re: 220 turbo loss of power

When was the fuel filter last changed? Not changed since the restoration which was just over 12 months ago. Anyway, garage say the fuel pressure test was done after the fuel filter so would already take that into account. Now focus is on ECU/sensors (as when you switch off the fault goes away for a...

Re: 220 turbo loss of power

When the fault occurs, when driving you can only push the accelerator so far so that you get to c 50 mph then if you push it further the car slows down (loses power). Stationary you can only rev to c.3.5K rpm then if you push the accelerator further it returns to idle.

Re: 220 turbo loss of power

AFAIK no it does not, no visible knob or gauge. Perhaps those who were involved in the build could confirm, but it drives as if the boost comes in gradually/further up the rev range as opposed to the little kick at 2500rpm that I've experienced with my previous ones with a manual controller and gauge.

Re: 220 turbo loss of power

Edit, garage have driven the car over the weekend and don't believe its fuel pressure but I am asking them more questions based on what's being posted elsewhere. Garage said fuel pressure is OK when the fault occurs . When the fault is not happening it doesn't seem to lack sufficient boost, when it ...

Re: Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show 2021 - Nov 12~14th

Pity there wasn't a bigger stand but well done for making the effort (ditto for the RCOC stand), feet now worn out. Very busy event. Ironic that the MG SVR was first to be sold out for the Bears charity rides today! Although the 860bhp Mustang(? at the right hand end of the board) was a close second.
