Rub some Vaseline on the raised bits, spray the rocker cover then wipe the Vaseline off, works a treat.

Sorry for the late reply mate, the clutch and flywheel were a straight swap on my d16 sohc, cant say 100% if its the same on the twin cams but I know the gearboxes fit either engines...

On the subject of clutches, its worth looking at getting the bigger.flywheel from a vtec civic (for a 212mm clutch iirc) and then that opens up lots of options for aftermarket Honda clutches

It could be a failing igniter in the dissy or rust on the connections of the ignition coil causing the flicker, im sure ive also read in the past of people having these symptoms prior to the main relay under the dash giving up the ghost due to dry solder joints.

Hey Marc, its definately a Honda engine, D16A6 SOHC job. think the coupes had them up to about a '96? i may be proved wrong on this though, but ive seen a few hona engined ones in the scrappy lately with all the scavenging ive been doing!!
