New drilled and groved disc all round
Polybushes all round will be speaking to dust on this one when ready also stainless coolent pipes and silicone hoses
Rear quarter and cill repaired
Full respray including wheels
Fit new Astra seats
Convert to a turbo 1.4
Full stainless exhaust
And all the nigeleu bits
I don't think I'll make pol this year but definitely next

Change of plans just brought a amaranth purple vvc coupe had front end damage so will be breaking it I'll be having the running gear gmax shocks and springs zs 180 brakes , exhaust and rear adjustable arms the rest is available panel damage is front bumper , bonnet , lights and drivers wing the rest is ok also has half leather trim

What is the clock doing Paul ?

Keeps going on and off and resetting itself back to 1.00am, often when going over bumps. Either a loose connection or dry joint I reckon.

Loose power connections. 4 pins on the back I think - ground, permanent live, switched live and "lights on" dimmer. At worst, the first 3 loose will cause all those problems and at best it's either of the first two loose.

The coupe's going to get a bit of love this spring/summer with some new front struts to make sure the MOT doesn't mention them again.

It'll also get fluids change - brake, gearbox oil & coolant - and a fuel filter if I can finally get the pipe nut loose

In addition to all the usual service items.

And I'll hopefully get round to fitting the shortshift gearlinkage (also courtesy of 1234dist) with a rebushed selector yoke to firm up the gearchange.
