Thanks for the replies, the hose is shaped......has 2 elbows and also a slight kink in the middle.
I think he is going to try and get to separate elbows and make a hose to fit.

Heater hose....where to get one?
Hi all, My Tourer that I swapped for a 827 Vitesse has had a wee problem. There is a hose that comes out from under the distributor and then goes over the heater valve has split and is no longer usable. We have tried Rimmers, Rover NZ, and Honda NZ to try and locate a replacement hose. Apparently th...

Sold my Tourer
Hi all, i have recently sold......well actually swapped, my 416 Tourer. I am still all Rover, but have swapped my Tourer for a 1990 2.7 ltr Vitesse of the 800 range. I am planning on keeping my profile open, as my friend who bought my Tourer may need some pointers every now and then. I have owned my...

Split rear seat catches
Hello all. Both my Tourer and my friends Tourer have the same fault. The larger of the two rear seats will not clip onto the catch when returned to the upright position. Has anyone else with split rear seats encountered this problem? I pulled the seat apart .....as much as I could, and found a small...

Re: Honda DOHC V SOHC Gearbox
Hi, I would also like to know if there is a difference in the ratios with the Honda AUTO for the SOHC and DOHC engines.

Re: 216 GTi Honda TC engine - ABS fault
Thanks for that info on the plug location, I am going to go and see if I can find it now. Even the Honda dealer I took the car into thought it was on the left hand side as well!! I shall also put the Rover mechanic right as too!!

Re: 216 GTi Honda TC engine - ABS fault
Apparently there is one....'somewhere in the front of the car under the dash area' as I was told. I have a twin cam Honda in my Tourer and had an ABS fault as well. We pulled back the carpet and checked up under dash on the Left side of the car. We never found the plug. My Rover trained mechanic was...

Finally got it back!!
My Tourer has been of the road for the last 2 and a half months due to ABS faults. Well, I have finally got it sorted, well the garage has!! They purchased a secondhand unit, and were able to make one good one out of the both. At the same time the car was treated to new oil and filter, air filter, s...

ABS finally getting repaired
After 2 months of no driving, I have finally saved enough money to get my Tourer in to have the ABS fixed. I drove it to the garage , illegally, naughty me, and I must admit....I am looking forward to getting it back. I have been using my mk1 800 sterling as everyday transport for the last 2 months,...
