Re: Rover 200 Gti
Speak to member “roverman68”. He fitted them to a 216SLi which we took (many years later) on a “banger rally” challenge to drive from Calais to Romania. Ironically we sold the car to another team, who drove the car home and sold it back to roverman. He’d fitted the rear switches in the hole the wind...

Re: FBHVC position on ban on sale of new cars with IC engines from 2030
I cant wait to see someone convert a Rover 200/400 to electric power Maybe one for RoverRevival! One did exist, albeit I get the impression it was more of a milk float than a Tesla. This chap did a piece on it for Keith Adams’ (excellent) website, which alas I cannot find. https://mobile.twitter.co...

Re: Has anyone else had a Honda engine burn oil??
Rover initially specified 6,000 miles oil changes for D series engined cars. I can't imagine many people adheared to this, I think the recommendation was extended to 12,000 miles eventually anyway? My experience of these engines is mixed. Parent's had a '91 416 GSi auto. In 200,000 miles it never ne...

Trev I'm pretty sure the reason your discs are warped relates to the knackered driveshafts that were on it when the brake discs were renewed. Basically, if you warped them (even ever so slightly) when the driveshaft was bent then the warping will have emphasised itself with use even if now the drive...

To change the aerial best idea is when you unplug it tie a long bit of string to the end of the cable. Unscrew the 2 screws on the roof, I think you might also have to un clip any clips on the wire between the radio and the aerial mounting too. Then pull it out allowing the cable to follow it out.
